deskavani™ Foot-Operated Page Press

Keep reference pages steady while your hands stay at work.

A refined, non-electronic desktop paper support tool designed to hold lightweight reference pages while both hands remain occupied with keyboards, drawing, crafting, or other desk tasks. A mechanical foot pedal moves the soft-tipped press arm down and releases it again for page changes.

Keep Reference Pages Steady Without Using Your Hands

Designed for home offices, creative studios, craft desks, and personal workspaces, the Foot-Operated Page Press places paper flat on a low desktop plate. A seated user lightly presses the under-desk pedal to lower the paper arm and hold the edge of a lightweight page.

deskavani™ Foot-Operated Page Press product introduction

A Mechanical Assistant for Paper-Based Work

Place a single sheet or lightweight reference page on the base, press the foot pedal gently, and let the soft silicone pad hold the paper edge. Release the pedal to lift the arm when it is time to turn or remove the page.

Simple Foot Control, Soft Paper Contact

The Foot-Operated Page Press uses a closed mechanical return structure, stainless steel linkage, and soft silicone contact points. It contains no motor, battery, circuit, screen, or electronic control.

deskavani™ Foot-Operated Page Press design features
  • Foot-Controlled Paper Hold A mechanical linkage transfers a light foot press to the paper arm, allowing the user to hold a page while both hands remain available.
  • Lift-to-Flip Arm Releasing the pedal allows the press arm to return to its raised position for turning or replacing a lightweight page.
  • Soft Silicone Paper Pad A broad silicone pad at the arm’s end distributes contact across the paper edge and reduces direct contact from a hard component.
  • Low-Profile Desk Plate Paper rests flat on a low base rather than being held upright or suspended, keeping the setup close to the desktop.
  • Stable Non-Slip Feet Silicone feet beneath the desk plate and pedal help maintain position on suitable flat surfaces.
  • Mechanical, No-Power Operation The pedal, linkage, and return structure operate manually without batteries, charging, electronics, or powered movement.

Warm Ivory Form with Matte Charcoal Details

A warm ivory ABS desktop plate pairs with a matte charcoal pedal and linkage cover, brushed stainless steel mechanical components, and soft silicone contact pads for a restrained under-desk paper tool.

Designed for Lightweight Reference Pages

The Page Press is intended for single sheets and lightweight paper materials. It is not designed to hold thick books, heavy folders, stacked documents, or objects that require strong clamping pressure.

Use only while seated and apply light foot pressure. The pedal is not a step, support platform, or weight-bearing surface. Do not stand on it, kick it, or use it to support the body.

Made for Hands-Busy Workflows

  • Home Office Hold a paper reference page while using both hands on a keyboard or other desk task.
  • Creative Studio Keep a lightweight reference sheet steady while drawing, arranging, or working with paper materials.
  • Craft Desk Hold a step sheet flat while both hands remain focused on a hands-on project.
  • Personal Workspace Move between paper notes and computer work without continuously pressing the page down by hand.
  • Compact Desk Use a low desktop plate instead of adding a large upright document display to the workspace.

How to Use

  1. Place the desktop plate on a flat, dry surface and position the pedal on stable flooring beneath the desk.
  2. Arrange the linkage so it does not obstruct walking space or contact nearby desk legs and objects.
  3. Place one lightweight sheet on the desktop plate, keeping it clear of the paper arm’s moving path.
  4. While seated, gently press the foot pedal to lower the paper arm and hold the page edge.
  5. Release the pedal to raise the arm before turning or removing the page. Wipe the plate and pedal as needed.

Care Instructions

Wipe the ABS housing with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth, then dry promptly. Silicone paper pads and anti-slip feet may be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not soak the product or place it in a dishwasher. Avoid abrasive sponges, harsh cleaners, and excessive liquid near the pivot, linkage, or return structure. Periodically check that the pedal and linkage remain connected securely.

Use Notes

Keep fingers away from the moving paper arm and use light foot pressure only. Place the pedal on a stable floor and ensure the linkage does not create a tripping obstruction. Do not force the linkage or open the return mechanism. Designed for indoor use and not intended as a children's toy.
